About Us
Rosemary Cowen-Knight graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design with a Master’s in Landscape Architecture. Based in the Oakland Hills, she has built a small practice with a reach that extends from the San Francisco Bay Area, across the United States and into Australia.
TopFloor Design is both site and client specific.
Each scheme is a complex melding our understanding of the client with their needs, the site, and the landscape. We strive to produce solutions that are contemporary, yet conceived with a classicists eye. The master plan seeks to be richly detailed; echoing the seasonal textures, the surrounding architecture, the relationship and location of each unique landscape. Top Floor Designs portfolio encompasses small, medium and large scale residential projects. All are given the same detailed consideration and contemporary bias.
